What should future UK cannabis policy look like?

Internationally, laws and regulations controlling the sale and use of cannabis are changing. We are interested in what members of the UK public think about issues related to cannabis policy, including legalisation & decriminalisation, and what a legal cannabis market might look like in the UK if the government decided to change the law to permit this.

About the researcher

The study lead is Professor Harry Sumnall from the Public Health Institute at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU). Collaborators on this research are Dr Cathy Montgomery, Dr Amanda Atkinson, and Stuart Taylor who are also all based at LJMU; Ian Hamilton, who is at the University of York, and Dr Suzi Gage from the University of Liverpool.

We're a team who have extensive experience in drugs research and undertaking research of a sensitive nature, so we know how important anonymity and confidentiality is.
